Archibald "Percival" Wavell

?????? About Me: ?????
Hello, my name is Archibald Wavell. I was born May 5,1883 in a town called Colchester which is in England. My father was a General in the British Army, you could say he was my role model. I entered the British Army in 1901 and served for 42 years till 1943, when i had reached my peak. During my 42 years of service I was involved in WW1 and WW2.
My Time at War
I guees you call me a war junky, because most of my life was spent out on the battlefield or giving orders in the command center. When WW1 started i was only a staff officer,I was soon appointed brigade officer of the 9th Infantry brigade. Dwavvuring the battle of Ypres i was wounded losing my left eye. I'll never be able to see the world the same. After i recouped from my injury i returned and recieved many thanks and awards for my duties.
The 2nd WW
It all started for me in 1940 when i was in command in Northern Africa, my army had dwindled the axis army to almost nothing. Victory was just over the horizon. that all changed when the Germens attack Greece, the other allies ordered us to help allowing the axis to become stronger in Northern Africa. Then my views switched to india, where i was to defend my army from Japans, this task was not easy for i suffered many defeats and lost many soldiers. We were ordered to withdraw from our lines and retreat to safer grounds.
