About Me: Howdy i'm chester w. nimitz. You can call me Nimitz. I was born in Texas and rasied by my mother and grandfather. I'm all Navy i love ships and workin on them. I've surved on a submarine......... and hated it. i would much rather feel the wind in my face.I married the love of my life, Cathrine Vance. We had three beautiful children. After the war i developed a prototype for the Naval Reserves Officers Training Corps at the Universtity of California at Berkeley.

My accoplishments: I was apointed commander in cheif, US Pacific Fleet with rank of Admiral by Roosevelt. I got a silver lifesaving award for saving W. J. Walsh from drowning. October 5 is my day, Nimitz Day. At the end of the war I recived a Distinguished Service Medal. My comrades called me the "Island Hopper". I won the the battle of Philippine sea and the battle of Leyete Gulf were I used a stratige called operation starvation. These two battles basicly won the Pasific Fleet.

My Hobbies: sailing at sea, working on diesal engines, creaming the Japs :)

My Interests: ships,sea, engines, naval stratiges, geting my hands dirty with grease

My Heroes: Charles H. Nimitz, my grandfather who became my father after my dad died before i was born. Thanks for always being there. Franklin Roosevelt, he gave me a chance to prove myself and appointed me commander.

My Favorite Saying: "God grant me the courage not to give up what I think is right even though I think it is hopeless. " -me
