Douglas MacArthur 

About Me: I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1880. After I graduated first in my 93-man class at Westpoint in 1903, I was commissioned in the Uninted States Corps of Engineers.  I was deployed to the Phillipenes, and served as aide-de-camp to President Roosevelt, among other assignments.  During the First World War, I served as the commander of the 42nd Division where I recieved numerous medals and commendations.  In 1918 I was awarded the rank of Brigadier General, and became the youngest divisional commander in France. 

     After a bumpy domestic ride, including using U.S. troops against U.S. WWI veterans, and a nasty lawsuit fraught with blackmail and trechery, I retired from the military, but still went to the Philipphines as a consultant.  In 1941 I was called up to active service, and assumed responsibility for the defense of the Philipphines.  After some tactical mishaps, I was sent to Australia and was named Supreme Commander of the Southwest Pacific Area, which basically ment I was subject only to Chester Nimitz, CINCPAC, after several bloody battles i developed a tactic called island hopping, by which you take the small lightly defended islands around a more heavily defended island.  Currently, I am engaged on Okinawa, a heavily defended Japanese island, from which we intend to launch our assault of the Japanese mainland.
