My Name: Fumimaro Konoe
About Me: My name is Fumimaro. In June of 1937 I became the the prime minister of Japan. After the murder of two of my marines in Shanghi, I launched two divisions to protect the Japanese. I pushed for a National Mobilization Law which gave the government the authority to use unlimited funds to subdize war production. Eventually, I became irritated and annoyed with the military and started to feel like a robot, therefore I resigned in 1939. Yet I kept coming back for more, I returned to my position in 1940. Again, I resigned in 1941, only to return to power later that year. I have been considered to play a role in the fall of the Japanese government, and being accused of being a criminal eventually led to my suicide in 1945.
