located between Syria,Turkey,Saudi Arabia, & Iran. It is in the middle east ,bordering the persian gulf,between Iran & Kuwait. Yes,it is near some mountains,and also even near some other countries.

Physical Geography

Southern Iraq is sandy while Northern Iraq is mountainous. People could find the US military in Iraq. The climate is hot and dry. Weather can vary from north to south. Temperatures can reach to 140 Degrees in summer and 30 in winter. People would interested in going to the:

• Hands Of Victory Monument 
• Saddam's Baghdad's palace 
• Ancient Biblical ruins

Human Geography

poor,sick,and some are even very healthy. Arab75%-80%,kurdish15%-20%,turkoman,assyrian or other 5%.

 

These are people who are bein treated bad , have aids ,and are very healthy in most parts of iraq all this is happening.

Movement

Cars(only type are air ported cars).Bikes,walking,and somtimes even by hitchen rides from strangers.  They usually have to walk cause the places are so small. They only have access to the radio and maybe the t.v.'s also if they have enough money.  They fear being killed or kidnapped. They have cell phones and physically. No newspapers or magazines.

Impact

They try to help by burning trash. No eco-friendly tourist destinations. There are no organizations dedicated to the environment that tourist can become involved with.
