King George VI

About Me:

Hello, i was born as His Highness Prince Albert in december of 1895. At age two my great-grandma got it changed to His Royal Highness Prince Albert. As i kid i was always sick. I had a stammer, a chronic stomach problem, and knock knees that i had to wear splints for.. those were extremely painful. I was naturally left-handed but forced to write with my right. I attended Royal Naval College, Osborne and although in the bottom of my class made it on to Royal Naval College, Dartmouth. I served in World War I and then I represented my father, the king. I made a fool of myself because I am too shy to give speeches. My brother was the one who became king after my father but he left to marry instead. I am married also and have two daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret.  When taking the throne i assumed the name King George VI to pick up where my father left off and bring back confidence in the monarchy. I spent a lot of time with my wife touring Canada and a bit of the United States but after the war began we decided to stay put in London.

My Hobbies: anything that keeps me physically active, ESPECIALLY TENNIS!

My Interests: I like tennis, spending time with my family, and traveling to Canada

My Heroes: my wife, for helping me overcome my stammer
