connecticut according to the last oficial census. Connecticut was 1st explore by the Dutch, eho founde trading posts. the 1st permanent
settlements were made by english puritans from massachusettes, starting in 1633. It is known as the constitution state. It is also known for
some famous inventors, Charles Goodyear, Elias howe, Eli whitney, and Eli Terry.

A couple of the major famous landforms in Connecticut are Rocky Neck state park, Mystic Coast,Thimble islands, Housatonic River valleys, and Submarine museum.The coastal plain and central valley are relatively flat. Other parts of the state are hilly, with the highest altitudes in the northwest corner. Hills are largely covered with hardwood forests, and about two-thirds of the state is in open land.
Connecticuts weather is relatively mild. The growing season is relatively long, with the 1st killing frost generally in mid-October and the last in mid-April. There is moderate rainfall which provides good growing conditions.

Connecticut is a leader in skilled and technical fields as metal workings, electronics, and plastics.This qualities have been judged to be the nation's finest. In turn they're responsible for major corporate offices. Connecticut is alson known as the insurance state.
Connecticut is well known for the Yale University and other Universities such as Wesleyan University and Connecticut University.Connecticut is known also for academic institutions, and Boarding schools.
The state of Government in Connecticut has three branches: executive, legislative, and judicial. Voters elect six officers" Governor, Liutenant Governor, Secretary of state, Treasurer,Comptroller, and Attorney General, all have four terms. There is currently 36 state senators and 151 state representives.
