There were 59 generals in my graduating class at graduating class, me and my classmate Dwight Eisenhower later reached the rank of General of the Army. I served on the U.S.-Mexico border in 1915. It was in WWII that I most rapidly addvanced. Eisenhower installed me as Corps Commander. During the invasion I lead the First Army. I also headed Operation Cobra which was composed of the largest group of American soldiers to ever serve under one field commander.  After the war I headed the Veterans Administration for two years. I did a lot to improve its health care system and with helping veterans receive their educational benefits under the G.
